Yorkie and Baby Are the Best of Friends

In the video below, we get to see an adorable 4-month-old baby and a Yorkshire Terrier playing together.

It is just as adorable as it sounds – this 4-month-old baby is so cute. And so tolerant of the little Yorkie’s nonstop excitement.

You can tell this Yorkie is having fun too, jumping back and forth – unsure of what to do with this tiny almost motionless human!

You can tell that the barking is a little bit much for the tiny baby, but nonetheless she is tolerant and enjoys spending time with her Yorkie brother.

It has long been assumed that Yorkies do well with kids. However, this is not the case.

Yorkies do best in households that either have only older children or no children.

The main reason is that Yorkies are basically tough little kids themselves.

They do not tolerate children’s shenanigans.

Obviously, this is not a rule set in stone. You may be fortunate and have a Yorkie who is sweet and tolerant of children. However, in most cases this doesn’t line up in reality.

If you are considering having children, or even getting a Yorkshire Terrier into your family that already has children. You will want to teach your children to respect dogs from the beginning.

This is very important and will go a long way.
